MCC facilitates a number of accommodations and services for students with documented disabilities. The nature and type of academic accommodations vary from student to student and are dependent upon the student’s disability and the academic requirements. It is the responsibility of the student to initiate the process with the Registrar’s Office. The student’s instructors will be informed of the student’s documented disability and what accommodations have been deemed appropriate.
To request academic accommodations, a student is required to have documented disabilities (i.e. high school I.E.P./504) that provide specific functional limitation information and demonstrates the need for specific accommodations. The student is responsible for the cost of any evaluation.
For assistance, the student needs to contact the Registrar’s Office.
