Why Should I Plan a College Visit?
|
| Selecting the college you plan to
attend may seem easy on paper. Regardless of how you
'rate' your college options you cannot empirically determine
what may be the most important factor: atmosphere.
If you intend to invest four years
of your time and money in an institution, it's a good idea
to determine if you will be comfortable there.
The best information you can gather
during a campus visit has absolutely no basis in cold facts.
It's a matter of opinion and instinct. And it can be
the most important information you gather!
(Doug Barnes, "How Do
You Measure Atmosphere?")
