Golf Tourney Results

Friday, September 22 was unusually hot and windy, but a good day for the 130 golfers who played in our 18th annual tournament at Colbert Hills.

In addition to the fun and great fellowship, this event raised funds to further MCC’s mission of educating, equipping, and enriching Christian leaders.

Congratulations to the winning teams.  The 1st place team representing Luke Sigle Vernon Company shot a 55, Tim Sigle, Mike Knipp, Stan Knipp, Mitchell Knipp.  The 2nd  place Oilfield Specialty team of Phil Mock, Kyle McDonald, Dean Couch, and Jason Hrabe, shot a 56.  Third place went to the Hi-Tech Interiors team comprised of Jarrod Willich, Don King, Jeremy Houghton, and Ryan Wilson.

Additional prizes for closest to the pin went to James Hutchinson at hole 8 and Mitchell Knipp at hole 17.  Daryn Soldan captured a prize for the longest drive. Honors for the longest putt of the day went to Jane O’Boyle.  The Howie’s Enterprises team found themselves at the bottom of the rankings and was recognized for having the most fun: Greg Wilson, Maurice Benson, Toby Marks, and Jason Gallagher.

The drawing for the full set of PING clubs, annually one of the most anticipated highlights of the day, went to Mitchell Knipp of Salina.  Bengi George of Manhattan won a set of PING hybrids and Kenny McDonald of Oklahoma City won a PING fairway wood.

We are grateful to the sponsors who helped to support MCC’s eternal mission--the training of Christian leaders who are prepared and motivated to impact the world for Christ.
