Youth and Children’s Pastor
Center Christian Church is looking for Youth and Children’s Pastor in Columbus, KS.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead/Coordinate Sunday Evening Youth Service.
- Recruit teachers.
- Be a part of teaching rotations.
- Coordinate with Volunteers.
- Develop relationships with the youth of our community.
Oversee the Children’s Ministry
- Ordering curriculum.
- Coordinating with volunteers.
- Fill in Sunday morning teaching rotation.
Plan Youth Events
- Camps.
- Outings.
- Conferences.
- Trips.
Build Relationships with Youth/Families
- Attending events.
- Bible Studies.
- Rotate between Wednesday Evening Events (JH/HS/Pajama Club/Midweek Bible Study).
Office Expectations
- Organize and prepare lessons.
- Recruit Volunteers.
- Grow in personal walk.
- Organize events.
- Work alongside staff to further ministry.
- Check with leaders/teachers.
- Organize materials.
Weekly Schedule
- Sunday – AM: Children’s Church/Main Service Rotation.
- PM: JH/HS Youth Service.
- Monday – Office/Visits.
- Tuesday – Office/Visits.
- Wednesday – Office/Midweek Evening Bible Studies (JH/HS/PC/MBS).
- Thursday – Office/Visits/Event.
- Friday – Office/Visits/Event.
- Saturday – Day Off.
- Floating time off through the week depending on that week’s schedule.
