MCC Men defeat Central Bible College

The men's basketball team was able to avenge its lone defeat in region play by defeating Central Bible College 78-68.  MCC had dropped their road game at Central Bible College on January 19th, 76-64.  Central Bible took an early lead at 10-9, MCC responded with a 8-3 run which gave them a lead they would hold onto for the rest of the game.  A three-pointer by Sage Ruis at the halftime buzzer sent the Crusaders to the lockerroom with a 34-24.  

In the second half MCC was able to stretch its lead out to 47-32 with just over 14 minutes to go in the game.  Central would make a couple of runs, but they were never able to cut the deficit to less than seven points.  Lonnie Penner led MCC with 23 points, Josh Camacho scored 18 points and Ruis chipped in with 17 points.
