What do you need to take courses at MCC Online?
The Minimum Computer System Requirements are meant to serve as a guideline for what is acceptable to access most courses using MCC Online. Be aware that some courses may utilize more advanced technologies or software, and the Minimum System Requirements may be limiting. You can test out your computer and the necessary software by visiting the MCC Online Help website and taking the “Readiness Test.”
MCC also recommends Microsoft Office 2007 (2008 for Macintosh users) for students. The Home and Student edition is available from many vendors and reasonably priced, typically around $130 with a student education discount.
