Various forms of financial aid for education are available under the new GI Bill and other VA programs, including new Chapter 33 benefits. Veterans and, in certain circumstances, their dependents should call 888.442.4551 or visit: www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/

Recieved VA Benefits Through MCC?
If you have previously received veteran's education benefits at Manhattan Christian College, you should:

Contact Jenna Keck VA Liaison as soon as you have registered for the upcoming term. Provide your schedule either by email or submit to the financial aid office. Also contact Jenna Keck every time you revise your course schedule by dropping or adding credit hours.


Recieved VA Benefits elsewhere?
If you have previously received veterans educational benefits at another school (but not yet at MCC)

Submit VA Form 22-1995 to the VA Central Regional Office as well as VA Liaison (Jenna.keck@mccks.edu)

Never Recieved VA Benefits before?
If you have never previously received Veteran's benefits at any school

1. Visit www.gibill.va.gov/

  • Click "apply online" and then click "education"
  • Apply for your NOBE (Notice of Basic Eligibility) via the online VONAPP

2. Contact VA Liaison (jenna.keck@mccks.edu) as soon as VONAPP has been submitted.  Provide name, SSN, Veteran's SSN, address (including zip), program of study and degree intent.

3. Email your class schedule or submit it to the financial aid office.  Be sure to notify VA Liaison (jenna.keck@mccks.edu) any time you revise your course schedule by dropping or adding credit hours.


If you qualify for the GI Bill and wish to transfer your benefits to a family member

Include in the GI Bill are provisions for transferring benefits to dependents. To learn more, click here!
