The mission of Manhattan Christian College is to educate, equip, and enrich Christian leaders. Our academic programs are designed to accomplish this mission, regardless of your chosen profession.
Programs of study feature double majors in Bible and Christian Ministry or Bible and a KSU major. These programs lead to bachelor of science or arts degrees. Students in the Christian Ministry major have a wide variety of emphasis and track options that will allow them to tailor their education to match their spiritual gifts and ministry calling. Combinations are nearly unlimited and emphasis options include chaplaincy, children’s ministry, counseling, family ministry, intercultural studies, pastoral ministry, spiritual formation, worship, and youth ministry.
The Leadership Education for Adult Development (LEAD) degree completion program assists adult learners who have completed 40 transferable hours and are interested in finishing college for personal and career development. The accelerated programs include management and ethics and biblical leadership. These degrees will provide effective management training with a biblical perspective, or training for lay ministry with a strong leadership and biblical foundation.
For busy adults unable to attend our campus programs MCC offers the same biblical education and degree flexibility in fully accredited online degree completion programs. Students with 40 transferable hours have program choices that provide ministry leadership training or business management. Degree options include biblical leadership or management and ethics. Ministers and lay leaders may find the accelerated courses helpful for Bible and ministry education. Christian teachers may take courses for teacher re-certification (ACSI).
MCC has a long-standing relationship with our next-door neighbor, Kansas State University. This relationship allows students the option of pursuing both a biblical education at MCC in conjunction with nearly any program offered at KSU. The more popular options at KSU include degrees in business, elementary and secondary education, early childhood education, family life and community service, social work along with many others. MCC also has special academic arrangements with Manhattan Area Technical College and the local Bellus Academy.
