Lifesong Church in Sutton, MA vision is to reach 2% of Metro-Worcester by helping people KNOW GOD, LIVE IN FREEDOM, DISCOVER PURPOSE and DELIVER HOPE. This is accomplished by creating environments where people can experience the love and presence of God, grow in their understanding and experience of His purpose and plan for their lives, and be equipped to deliver the hope of Jesus to the world around them. We are seeking an Adult Ministries Pastor/Director to join us.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Lifesong’s assimilation efforts, facilitated through Engage and Dream Team Orientation, to help individuals learn more about Lifesong, become part of the church community, and join the team.
- Oversee the development, execution, and engagement of small groups for the purposes of community, care, and discipleship.
- Work alongside pastors and ministry leaders to raise up and equip small group leaders.
- Develop the small group direction and offering for each small group season.
- Vet small group curriculum as needed.
- Coordinate launch efforts for each small group season.
- Work directly with the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor to shape vision and strategy for Lifesong’s assimilation and small groups ministries.
- Oversee the Impressions ministry in collaboration with the Impressions Director.
- Build and manage the Adult Ministries budget and ensure its proper stewardship.
- Track key performance indicators and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience building and leading teams.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Pastor or Director role.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
