Bi-vocational Pastor

New Life Church has a ministry opportunity for a bi-vocational pastor.  New Life Church is an evangelical church located between Wathena and Troy, Kansas in the heart of Doniphan County.    

First and foremost, the primary mission of New Life Church is to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  In addition, our congregation seeks to glorify Jesus Christ, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and worship our God in Spirit and in truth. We are also dedicated to fellowship and serving one another in our congregation and are devoted to performing loving acts of ministry in our communities.

 

New Life Church is seeking a pastor to preach and guide our worship time, help facilitate Sunday School and other spiritual growth opportunities (i.e. – organizing small home groups, Wednesday night Bible study, etc.), and work with the church leadership to identify and implement activities to grow the church and continue to minister to people in our communities.

 

Currently, we hold a worship service with a small congregation of around 40-50 regular attendees. Just prior to the service, we have a Sunday School for adults and another for youth of varying ages.  Our facility is under 15 years old with a sizable sanctuary, a large fellowship hall, several classrooms, a room suitable for youth group activities/program, and a big gymnasium area.
