Job Description
Madison Park Christian Church is seeking an Elementary/Junior High Student Minister. The Student Ministry at Madison Park Church exists to facilitate life change in Jesus through helping people experience life within the Kingdom of God. This ministry utilizes relationships primarily through conversations, programming, events, and camps to help children and families engage in meaningful ways with God as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and then to live out of that relationship in a way that expands God’s Kingdom here and now.
The person filing the staff leadership role of Student Minister for Elementary and Jr High Ministries also contributes to the overall ministry of the church according to his/her gifts and passions. This role remains flexible and can be changed as the church and staff’s needs and interests change (through consultation with the leadership team and elders). Ministry Focus Points are reviewed annually.

- Spiritually mature and dedicated Christian.
- Submissive to leadership and a team player.
- Possess a passion for seeing the church carry out God’s mission.
- Experience in administrative functions: planning, organizing, implementation.
- Understanding of the Biblical teaching concerning service.
- Characterized by a spirit of humility and service.
- Persistent in carrying out his/her ministry.
- Able to receive and respond positively to coaching.

- Staff report to David Beuttel for basic guidance and leadership within Student Ministry.
- Staff report to Leadership Team for overall guidance and leadership within Church mission and vision.
- Authority
- Empowered to carry out all ministry roles as led and agreed upon by the Student Ministry team.
- Non-budgeted items should go through Carol Cramer (she will consult the leadership team when necessary).
- Ideas for discussion should follow the communication strategy.
- Responsibility
- Lead Elementary and Jr High Student Ministries.
- Recruit, train and shepherd Elementary and Jr High volunteers.
- Execute camps, retreats and conferences for Elementary & Jr High.
- Shepherd and equip sponsors, teachers, students and families.
- Cultivate relationships/partnerships for our Elementary and Jr High Ministries with Quincy and the surrounding area.
- Oversee Elementary and Jr High curriculum scope and sequence in partnership with Student Ministry Team.
- Oversee and partner in planning and executing Elementary & Jr High events.
- Help market and brand Elementary and Jr High Ministries to reach families.
- Target being lost young families and to reengage church families.
