We need a strong leader who will work with our high school students to understand that they can make a difference now.

  • A level of spiritual maturity that is demonstrated in healthy relationships with God, adults, and students, and an accountability relationship with one or more adults.
  • A passion for seeing the gospel infiltrate and develop in the hearts and lives of high school students.
  • Strong leadership skills in team management, interpersonal skills, discernment, organizational growth and change, team building, communication skills, and humility.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the overall vision, mission, and goals of the high school ministry as a part of the Next Gen Team in fulfillment of the overall goals of Pathway Church.
  • Organize and direct a small group strategy for Sunday evening sessions for all high school students.
  • Recruit, develop, oversee, coach, and supervise the high school volunteers.  
  • Work with parents of high school students, helping them to be shepherds and leaders for their own children.
  • Plan and oversee yearly schedule for high school activities including summer camp and mission involvement.
  • Develop and manage the appropriate ministry budget.
  • Maintain relationships with community leaders in the area served by Pathway Church.
  • Coordinates and organizes the high school ministry in conjunction with the larger focus of Pathway Church seeking to integrate students into current initiatives.
