Job Description
Due to the pastoral calling and relocation of our current pastor, the Congregational Church of Kinsley is seeking the services of a full time Minister/Worship Leader. A bi-vocational status is acceptable. The Congregational Church worships in a modern facility and is financially stable. The candidate must possess effective communication and social skills, while leading the membership of fifty in spiritual growth through scriptural based ministry.
Responsibilities for Minister/Worship Leader
- Weekly Sunday services
- Special services as deemed necessary such as,
- Baptisms,
- Weddings, and
- Funerals
- Meetings with the various functioning committees
- Participation in the local Ministerial Alliance Association
- Counseling individuals and couples as need arises
- Membership outreach
- Visitation of ill or incapacitated members either in homes, local hospital or care facility
Selected applicant will be continually mindful of their constant and continual representation of both the church family and faith community and conduct self in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon either.
Kinsley Kansas has a population of approximately 1400 residents and is located at the intersecting US Highways of 50, 56, and 183, 38 miles east of Dodge City Kansas.
