Residency Description
The Lincoln Berean ministry residency exists to equip and launch kingdom leaders. This 22-month program is for young adults with a kingdom mindset, who have recently completed their undergraduate studies. By the end of this program, Ministry Residents will be prepared and equipped to make a Kingdom impact through their lives, leadership, and influence in whatever profession the Lord has called them to.
- Earn a master’s degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
- Participate in leadership training and spiritual formation modules
- Meet weekly with a personal mentor
- Serve and lead in various ministry areas of Lincoln Berean
- Get paid as a part-time employee at Lincoln Berean
- Receive a 75% tuition scholarship for seminary education
The Ministry Residency is intended to build a foundational base for ministry leadership. We believe this base will be strong if it is built upon three legs of needed development for a ministry leader:
- Personal Development (heart)
- Theological Education (head)
- Ministry Skill Development (hands)
This Residency endeavors to create leaders who are:
- Self-feeding, multiplying disciple makers (personal development)
- Equipped with the foundation to become lifelong biblical learners who interpret and apply the Scriptures accurately (theological development)
- Proficient in developing and executing strategies and tactics across the breadth of church ministries (ministry skill development).
