Internship Description
Summer Interns serve Southland by working alongside our staff to help carry out our Church’s mission. This experience is designed to challenge interns to develop their character, gain ministry skills, and clarify their calling as they serve in hands on opportunities.
Summer Internship Opportunities Include:
- A full-time, 9 week commitment (Late May – Late July).
- Assisting with 3 weeks of Student Ministry Camps.
- Enjoy hands-on learning in your chosen ministry area under the supervision of Southland staff for training, coaching, development, and support.
- Engage in weekly leadership training with other interns and Southland staff members.
- Potential college credit available depending on your school’s requirements.
- Summer interns will receive a small paid stipend.
- Host homes are available for non-local Summer interns.
Potential Areas of Ministry:
- Children’s Ministry.
- General Ministry.
- Music and Worship.
- Production, & Student Ministry.
