Our Purpose:
Camp Sonshine is a non-profit, Christian summer camp and conference center organization located just minutes south of Lincoln, Nebraska. Camp Sonshine’s day and overnight summer camp programs give kids a safe place to experience personal growth, make new friends, and overcome challenges.
Our Passion:
Camp Sonshine exists to unlock & unleash kingdom builders through leveraging camp experiences to create a place to BELONG & BECOME.
Positions available:
Camp Sonshine currently operates day camp and overnight camps at three locations near Lincoln, Nebraska. The following include the current available positions for hire.
Group Counselor: Group counselors are the most awesome, fun & creative people at Camp Sonshine. They are responsible for leading a group of 10 – 12 campers through the action-packed camp day. This includes participating with and leading campers in a variety
of activities.
Media: The Camp Sonshine Marketing & Media position is a summer position that is designed to give its participant valuable field experiences in photo and video production. The power of camp is in the relationships built and the memories made. Work behind the scenes and capture the life-changing moments at camp so families can cherish them forever!
Internships:
College Credit- Camp Sonshine has had a number of summer staff receive college credit during their time at Camp Sonshine. We also offer a year round internship to those interested in experiencing all aspects of camping ministry. If interested in either, contact us!
