Summer Urban Intership
Love Thy Neighborhood offering 10-week internships. Internships begin the Tuesday after Memorial Day, May 30, 2023 – August 5, 2023. Application closes March 6, 2023. Apply before February 15, 2023 and when you’re accepted into the program you’ll receive an exclusive LTN T-shirt featuring on of our relationship mottos! And a gift card to our favorite local coffee shop to use during your term.
We offer far more than an internship – you will work with other team members to holistically develop your faith in three areas – Service, Community, and Discipleship. We are located in Louisville, KY.
- Service. You will make an impact on homelessness, crisis pregnancy, urban youth, refugees, low-income healthcare, the justice system, multicultural churches, low income housing plus more by serving 25 hours each week with a local nonprofit ministry.
- Community. Live with a team on mission-minded peers. Learn how to have a meaningful and deep relationships together, to love others plus love God in each moment. Be part of a local church community. Experience community like never before as you live and do ministry with other Christian young adults.
- Discipleship. Learn from experts in theology, spiritual disciplines, mission, trauma-informed care, mercy ministry, racial reconciliation, and more at LTN workshops and through reading curriculum. Be sent out each week to share God’s love with your neighbors. Grow in your faith by walking in the life and lifestyle of Jesus.
You will partner with over a dozen nonprofit ministries. We provide relational coaching while you live with your teammates through silence and solitude, team devotions, curriculum, neighbor outreach and LTN Gathered worship services.
