IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Office of the Registrar will be closed December 22, 2017 through January 1, 2018 for the College’s holiday break. Transcript orders need to be placed by December 21 to ensure processing prior to the closure. Processing of orders placed during the closure will resume starting January 2, 2018.
What is a transcript?
A transcript is a certified, official copy of your permanent college record. Since it contains confidential information, it cannot be released to anyone other than you without written permission unless it is mailed directly to another university/institution from the MCC Registrar’s Office. Students may see an unofficial version of their transcript in Empower (Transcript (Unofficial)).
How do I order a transcript?
Electronic transcripts may be ordered from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). There is a $2.25 charge for electronic transcript orders. Orders that request a PDF version for delivery have an additional $1.75 fee ($4.00 total). You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.
The website will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. A processing fee will be charged per recipient. The NSC will provide e-mail and/or text notification for every step of the process, including delivery. You may also track your order online.
Physical transcripts may also be ordered by e-mail, fax, or by mail. Send a copy of the completed and signed transcript request form to: Manhattan Christian College Registrar, 1415 Anderson Ave., Manhattan, KS 66502. You may fax your request to 785-539-0832. The completed request form (with signature) may be also be e-mailed to the Registrar’s Office. MCC will send physical copies of transcripts for free, but students are limited to five free copies per semester. For transcript orders beyond five in a semester there will be a $10 charge and payment must be received in advance of fulfillment. Transcripts given or sent directly to students will be marked “Issued to Student”.
Phone or e-mail general requests for transcripts cannot be fulfilled. NO ONE ELSE may pick up your transcript without your written permission. Transcripts will not be issued to students who are financially delinquent to the college.
