History of Edwards Lecture Series
The Edwards Lectureship provides a unique opportunity for Manhattan Christian College to go outside the traditional classroom to educate, equip, and enrich Christian leaders. Featured speakers are chosen for their proven Christian leadership and their ability to challenge audiences to integrate faith into their chosen professions.
The Edwards Lectureship is an endowed tribute to Dr. Arthur Edward’s long tenure as academic dean at MCC and the key role he played in establishing the dual degree program that exists between Manhattan Christian College and Kansas State University.
Dr. Edwards was a man of faith, a man of service, and a man of ministry. He was a strong advocate for the “priesthood of all believers” and worked tirelessly to enable others to use their talents for God’s glory. His family continues to help others pursue their responsibility of ministry and service in the marketplace.
The Edwards Lectureship provides a unique opportunity for Manhattan Christian College to take her mission of educating, equipping, and enriching Christian leaders beyond the classroom.
