Job Description
Otwell Christian Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is a welcoming body of believers focused on serving god and loving people. We meet weekly for worship service and fellowship at 46 county road 221, Jonesboro, AR. Our worship services and Bible classes are Christ-centered. We are an Independent Restoration Christian Church in Otwell 12 miles south of the greater Jonesboro, AR area. We are seeking a full time minister. At Otwell Christian Church, we believe the Bible is God’s word and salvation from sin comes only through Jesus Christ.
Our Core Beliefs
- We accept the entire Bible as the inspired word of God. (I Peter 20-21).
- We follow the New Testament as our sole authority in matters relating to our Christian life and worship. It is our only rule of faith and practice. (Galatians 1:6-10).
- We offer no creed but Christ. (Matthew 16:16; 17:5).
- We exalt Christ as the only head of the Church. (Colossians 1:18).
- We require for membership only that which is required by God’s Word. The Church is the spiritual body …therefore, we must accept what the Holy Spirit records as being necessary for man’s salvation.
