Dave is currently finishing a PhD in Leadership Studies from Johnson University. The writing focus for his dissertation is the characteristics and qualities needed for cross cultural workers in todays globalized world. This research, along with his experience in the field, positions MCC to equip students to engage in bringing God’s heart to the nations.
Ecclesial Experience and/or Passions
Dave brings more than 25 years of ministry experience including seven years on the missions field. Dave and his family lived in Estonia and served with the missions organization Josiah Venture. In Estonia, they helped build a national organization that trains and equips young leaders. Dave has also been engaged in mobilizing people of all ages to the missions field. Prior to MCC, he served as a Missions Mobilizer at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville Kentucky.
Academic Interests and/or Areas of Expertise
Dave continues to have a passion for the unreached and displaced people. The summer of 2017, Dave led a team of 9 students to work with refugees in Greece. He continues engage with organizations with a heart to bring the gospel to new places.
