Senior Minister

Job Description

Countryside Christian Church in Topeka, KS is seeking a senior minister.  The senior minister should be a man faithful to scripture, salvation and the Christian life. His background should be from the Restoration Movement (Independent Christian Church, Church of Christ).

Requirements

• He should have experience on leading a congregation as the senior minister/preacher.
• Having Youth Ministry experience would be a plus.
• He will work closely with the church staff and elders.
• He should be able to be ‘forward looking’. Willing and able to plan.
• He will conduct marriages and administer premarital counseling; conduct funerals and administrate bereavement counseling.
• He should be committed to personal spiritual growth and be an example of daily Christian living

Countryside has 9:15 am and 10:30 am Sunday worship services (combined attendance running 85-100).  C-kids (K thru 6th grade) combined attendance 25-27. H.S. – Sunday evening – 8 to 10.
