Ken R. Canfield, PhD
National Association for Grandparenting

Dr. Canfield founded the National Association for Grandparenting in January 2016. Over the last 30 years, he has studied the family and how the family system affects our culture either positively or negatively depending on the strength of individual family relationships. An accomplished author and researcher, Dr. Canfield has a total of 11 grandchildren and is considered an authority on fathering skills. Some of his books include 7 Secrets of Effective Fathers, Spiritual Secrets of Faithful Fathers, and Beside Every Great Dad.
Judd Swihart, PhD
Co-Author of Beside Every Great Dad
Dr. Swihart is a grandfather, author and former counselor who
conducted research on the grandparent-grandchild relationship for his dissertation.
