Senior/Lead Pastor

Our Church

New Life Christian Church is seeking a Senior/Lead Pastor. New Life Christian Church is  a welcoming, relational congregation that values both biblical truth and outward-focused ministry. We believe the church is called to serve beyond its walls, and we actively engage our community through:

• An annual Clothes for Compassion outreach.
• Community Thanksgiving Dinner for 650+.
• Ongoing efforts to care for families and individuals in need.
• A heart to reach the lost and grow disciples.

Our worship includes high quality contemporary music, with ministries designed to serve children, youth, adults, and seniors. We offer active Life Groups throughout the week and intentionally invest in training our youth to love and serve God.  In recent years, God has blessed us with significant facility improvements, including:

• A multipurpose gym/fellowship hall and kitchen (constructed in 2014).
• A recently remodeled kids area.
• An adjoining house used for classrooms.
• Additional facilities including a bus barn and storage building.

We believe our church is healthy, unified, and positioned for continued growth—with room to refine systems, develop leaders, and expand our impact.

Job Description

In addition to meeting the biblical qualifications of an Elder, our next Lead Pastor will be someone who:

• Is a strong, engaging preacher who communicates God’s Word with clarity and conviction.
• Is a gifted teacher and relational leader.
• Enjoys working with people inside and outside the church.
• Has a passion for reaching families and developing future leaders.
• Is energized by leading a church that is growing and full of opportunity.
• Values teamwork, accountability, and servant leadership.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Shepherding and caring for the congregation.
• Preaching on Sunday mornings.
• Providing leadership and oversight to staff and volunteers.
• Partnering with the Elders in vision, direction, and administration.

The Lead Pastor will provide oversight for a staff that includes:

• A full-time Worship Leader / Media Director.
• Part-time Youth Minister.
• Part-time Children’s Ministry Coordinators.
• Church Secretary.
• Volunteer Ministry Leads.

Qualifications

• College degree from a Christian college.
• Commitment to Restoration Movement principles.
• Passion for evangelism and disciple-making.
• Proven ministry experience and leadership ability.

Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.
