Position Summary
The Donor Engagement Coordinator supports fundraising and advancement efforts through campaign coordination, donor stewardship, event execution, and
communications. This role is central to cultivating a meaningful donor experience and ensuring the effective day-to-day execution of engagement and event strategies aligned with leadership direction.
This is a Part Time remote position with occasional in-person meetings/events. It is approximately 20 hours per week. This position reports to the Executive Director and supports the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Development & Stewardship
- Execute donor engagement strategies to grow and retain supporters.
- Coordinate donor communication touchpoints (emails, thank-you notes, follow-ups).
- Ensure timely acknowledgment of gifts.
- Maintain accurate donor records to support reporting and outreach efforts.
- Assist in generating donor and campaign records for leadership review.
- Fundraising Campaign & Event Coordination
- Support planning and execution of campaigns including the annual Vision Dinner.
- Coordinate event logistics, timelines, and task management.
- Assist with sponsorship tracking and guest experience.
- Align work with leadership fundraising goals.
- Administrative & Data Management
- Strong Utilization skills Excel and Word for tracking and reporting.
- Maintain accurate donor records to support reporting and outreach efforts.
- Assist in generating donor and campaign reports for leadership review.

Technical Skills
- Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
- Ability to learn donor software.
- Familiarity with Canva and social media platforms.
Time Commitment
- Hours may increase to events leading up to major events such as the Vision Dinner (Oct).
- Participation in FundRaising Mastermind & Cohorts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or event coordination and/or earning degree in this field.
- Experience with donor databases or CRM systems.
