Instructor: Dave Cupery
Assistant Professor of Intercultural Studies
Dave has been a professor at MCC since 2016. He holds a B.S. from Calvin College, 1992 and a M.S., from Moody Bible Institute, 2001.He is currently finishing a PhD in Leadership Studies from Johnson University. The writing focus for his dissertation is the characteristics and qualities needed for cross cultural workers in today’s globalized world. This research, along with his experience in the field, positions MCC to equip students to engage in bringing God’s heart to the nations.
Dave brings more than 25 years of ministry experience including seven years on the missions field. Dave and his family lived in Estonia and served with the missions organization Josiah Venture. In Estonia, they helped build a national organization that trains and equips young leaders. Dave has also been engaged in mobilizing people of all ages to the missions field. Prior to MCC, he served as a Missions Mobilizer at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville Kentucky.
