Job Description

The Christian Church of Burlington, KS seeks a lead minister to continue its 160+ year mission in the community to make mature followers of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to Reach, Raise, and Release disciples into the world. We are an elder run, conservative, evangelical, restoration movement, independent Christian Church. We averaged 127 people, spanning 4 generations over the last 26 Sundays.

Burlington, KS offers great schools and community amenities. Our facility was built in 2007 with a sanctuary that seats 300+ people, and we recently added an education wing to invest in our children. We also own 2 parsonages; including a 13 year old 4 bedroom, 3 bath home provided for the Sr. Minister. All current church owned facilities are debt free.

Current paid church staff consists of 1 part time executive administrative assistant, and 1 full time youth/children’s pastor. We have weekly programming for kindergarten age kids through adults of all ages. We have ministry teams in place to maintain and grow our service to the body of Christ and community.
