Job Description

The mission of The Thornburg Church is to present the Gospel of Salvation to all mankind and make disciples. The Thornburg Church (non-denominational) in rural North Central Kansas is looking for a new Pastor to begin in February 2026. We are in need of a family to serve our church.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for

• Sunday service,
• Sunday evening bible study,
• Chaplin at the local hospital 1 week every other month,
• Nursing home services at 2 nursing homes Sunday afternoon every other month,
• Community involvement, and
• Recruiting new members.

Qualifications

We are looking for a pastor with

• Strong biblical background,
• Non-drinker and smoker,
• Preaches on Scripture,
• Can keep on time, and
• Self-motivated.
