About the Role

Are you passionate about leading students into a growing relationship with Jesus? Do you thrive in a dynamic, team-driven ministry environment? Tri-Village Christian Church is seeking a full-time Student Pastor to lead and grow our Student Ministry for grades 6–12.

As the Student Pastor, you will lead and shape the vision for Student Ministry (6th-12th grades) at Tri-Village, building a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry that engages students, equips volunteers, and impacts both the church and the community.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of Student Ministry programming for grades 6–12.
  • Collaborate with current team to ensure Sunday morning classes are staffed; teach regularly.
  • Plan and lead Sunday evening Student Ministry gatherings during the school year.
  • Coordinate events and summer programming (e.g., CIY, camps, retreats).
  • Oversee communication through e-newsletters, social media, and parent/student updates.
  • Develop and execute discipleship strategies that engage students and deepen faith.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a strong volunteer team.
  • Build and lead a Student Ministry team that fosters community and shared leadership.
  • Take an active role in church-wide Family Life events (e.g., Trunk or Treat).
  • Identify and pursue outreach opportunities in local schools and the broader community.
  • Establish a consistent programming rhythm for Student Ministry that builds momentum throughout the year.
Qualifications
  • A heart for students and a passion for helping them grow in their faith.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a student ministry in a Christian Church context.
  • Proven ability to recruit and develop volunteers and student leaders.
  • Comfortable working across all age groups and ministry teams.
  • Approachable, teachable, and highly relational.
  • Driven by outreach and mission, especially with students not yet connected to church.
  • Committed to regular goal-setting and evaluation in collaboration with the Executive Pastor.
