Who We Are

Harvest Christian Church is a vibrant and growing Restoration Movement church with a weekly average attendance of 300. Located in Winfield, Kansas, we are passionate about helping people take their next step toward Jesus. We are a 7-year-old church plant that will be moving into our first facility in August 2025.

Our youth ministry currently serves around 50 middle and high school students, and we’re positioned for significant growth thanks to large local schools and a church culture that values discipleship. We’re seeking the right leader to help us take this next step in reaching and transforming young lives.

We’re looking for a full-time Youth/Associate Minister to lead our 6th–12th grade youth ministry and support our Lead Pastor in broader ministry functions. This is a unique opportunity to make a deep impact both within our church and throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a Christ-centered youth ministry focused on discipleship, outreach, and growth.
Plan and lead weekly gatherings, Bible studies, and special events (camps, retreats, mission projects, etc.).
Build authentic relationships with students and families.
Recruit, train, and shepherd a team of adult volunteers.
Be a visible presence in the community and local schools.
Support preaching, teaching, and leadership development as part of the pastoral team.
Participate in overall church strategy, outreach, and spiritual care.

Qualifications

A growing, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
A passion for discipling students and equipping others.
Degree in ministry or theology from a Christian college or university (preferred: Ozark Christian College or similar).
Ministry experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A team player with a servant’s heart and gospel vision.
