Freedom Christian Church is a Stone-Campbell church located in rural south central Kentucky that has been active since 1896, with an average attendance of 100 people. Our church vision is to be “A family of believers who always desire to welcome others as we strive to be a reflection of the God we serve.”
Position Description
Full-time Youth Minister minister who has a heart for the next generation, stands firm on Biblical teaching /preaching, and leads with attention to God’s direction. This position will over both the Kids and Student Ministries departments. The pay for this position will be comprehensive and negotiable depending upon experience/qualifications.
Education/Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree minimum in church leadership and/or Biblical teaching/preaching
Duties of Youth Minister
The Youth Minister will serve under the guidance of the elders and the Minister in preforming the duties of Preaching/ Teaching the Youth, Visiting, Organizing Functions, and helping the congregation carry out the Great Commission.
The Youth Minister will work with the various departments of: Sunday School, Youth Group, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Programs, Easter Programs, Youth Sundays, Christian Service Camps, and any program that will be beneficial for the growth of the Church. Develop, Train, Equip, and Enlist volunteers in various youth ministry tasks.
