Youth Pastor/Director

Job Description

We are having so much fun loving and serving our church and city with Jesus! Come and join us as our Youth Pastor/Director! The Youth Pastor/Director will lead Vineyard Youth (6-12th Grade) as a part of the pastor and director team. Do you have a strong sense of calling to youth ministry and to serve on a pastoral team? We are looking for an all-in person, that can hop into the mix of ministry and life of our church and city.

About Vineyard Church KC West

Vineyard Church KC West over ten years ago in the Fall of 2012, we purchased our church building and land in the Piper Area of Kansas City, KS in 2015.

We have a team culture amongst our staff and volunteers. Our paid staff is made up of a team of ten, with a mix of full-time and part-time, which serve with dozens of volunteers and leaders. We have a wonderful group of people that call Vineyard home. We are multi-generational and enjoy life together. Vineyard Youth is a huge part of the life and focus of our church community. We are consistently engaging our city through the schools, local events in the area, and those that we host at our building. We are all about loving and serving our city!

Qualifications

• Strong personal relationship with Jesus.
• 2+ years paid or volunteer youth ministry experience.
• Enjoys being a part of a team.
• Bachelor’s Degree completed or in process preferred.
• Strong sense of calling to the Kansas City area.
• Effective communicator up front and in small groups.
• Embraces Kingdom of God Theology.
• Vineyard DNA preferred.

  • Demonstrated character in life and ministry.
  • Enjoys youth, young adults and families.
