Ecclesial Experience and/or Passions
Dave Cupery started teaching at MCC the fall of 2016. He teaches Intercultural Studies. He holds a Master of Biblical Studies degree from Moody Bible Institute, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Johnson University. Prior to coming to MCC, he was on staff at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville Kentucky mobilizing people into missions work. Dave and his family also lived as missionaries in Estonia, serving with Josiah Venture where they helped establish a national organization to train and equip. young leaders. He and his wife Jen have been married since 1993.
Academic Interests and/or Areas of Expertise
Dave continues to have a passion for the unreached and displaced people. The summer of 2017, Dave led a team of 9 students to work with refugees in Greece. He continues engage with organizations with a heart to bring the gospel to new places.
