Financial Aid and the Dual Degree Program
Manhattan Christian College enjoys a unique relationship with our next-door neighbor, Kansas State University and with Manhattan Area Technical College. These relationships allow students to pursue a bachelor degree in Bible and Leadership while completing a separate bachelor degree at K-State (or an associates degree at MATC) at the same time. For more information on the Dual Degree Program, you can visit our Dual Degrees page.
Paying for college while in the Dual Degree program is not as complicated as it sounds. We do our best to make sure that being enrolled in two schools is an easy and understandable experience. Students that are enrolled in the Dual Degree program will be able to work with our financial advisors to discuss their final tuition costs, available scholarships, and other financial aid questions.
Tuition
While enrolled in two schools, tuition will depend on how many classes the student is taking at both colleges.
Scholarships
Since students in the Dual Degree program are enrolled in both MCC and K-State, they may be eligible for scholarships from both MCC and K-State. You can see all of our MCC scholarships on our Scholarships page. K-State scholarships can be found on the K-State website.
Financial Aid
When filling out the FAFSA, students in the Dual Degree program should use MCC’s school code. All grants, loans, and other aid will be applied through MCC if the student chooses. You cannot have you federal aid at both MCC and KSU. The Financial Aid process can seem a bit overwhelming, and you can visit our Financial Aid page to learn more about the financial aid process.
