Currently Open Scholarship Applications

**ALL applicants must be current MCC students who will have a minimum of Sophomore status (30 credits) when the scholarship is awarded.
Scholarships are awarded Fall and Spring semester of following academic school year.  Students ate to be enrolled in full-time (12+credits) either at MCC or between a dual enrollment program.  If there is an exception to these requirements, it will be notated in the application description on the application. 

Unless otherwise noted, all scholarship application links are to Google Forms, and you must be logged in to your MCC Gmail account to submit the form.

Woman’s World Scholarship Application

Manhattan Christian College is pleased to offer the 46th Annual Woman’s World Scholarship.  In 1984, MCC Women started this scholarship opportunity in connection with the annual Woman’s World Conference.  The students chosen to receive this scholarship will be honored during the Saturday noon lunch session of the Woman’s World Conference.  The 46th Woman’s World Conference will be held February 24-25, 2023.  The 2023 scholarship will be applied to the 2023-2024 year.

Alexander Balestrieri Christian Women’s Teaching Scholarship

The Alexander Balestrieri Christian Women’s Teaching Scholarship is for females that are going to be sophomore, junior or senior, enrolled as a full time student, and are pursuing a teaching degree. This is a need based scholarship.

Berger (Delores Arlene) Scholarship

The Berger (Delores Arlene) Scholarship is given to a sophomore, junior, or senior that is enrolled as a full time student and has a physical disability.

Dorothy Ann Tilley Phelps Memorial Scholarship

The Phelps scholarship is a need based scholarship for students preparing for a church-related ministry. Students must be a sophomore status or above and have a financial need.

Enrichment Scholarship

The Enrichment scholarship is a need based scholarship. given to a sophomore, junior, or senior that has a financial need.

Flint Hills Veteran Coalition Scholarship for Military Veterans

The FHVC scholarship is for an active duty members or veterans who are degree seeking at MCC and has a financial need. Student must be taking at least 3 credit hours.

Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Global Legacy Scholarship

The Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Global Legacy Scholarship is for any full-time degree seeking student (including dual-degree) who has a heart and commitment for ministry.

Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Local Legacy Scholarship

The Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Local Legacy Scholarship is for any student who graduated from either Council Grove High School or White City High School and is a full-time degree seeking student including dual-degree.

2022 Russell Wilson Scholarship Application

The Wilson Scholarship is a scholarship for students that are sophomore status or above that is enrolled in a degree program which prepares them for a church related ministry.

Sager (Frank) Memorial Scholarship

The Sager (Frank) Memorial Scholarship is a for a student that is serving at 1st Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, is a full time student, and has a financial need.

Sherlund Prawl Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship recognizes the Christian ministry legacy of Warren Dittemore, Sherlund’s uncle. It provides two annual scholarships of $2,500 to one male and one female and was awarded for the first time in the fall of 2020.

C. Franklin Karns Preaching Scholarship

The C. Franklin Karns Preaching Scholarship was established in 2011 to honor his 70 years of ministry from both the pulpit and in the classroom.  This scholarship honors Dr. Karns’ commitment to the effective communication of Scripture in a manner that is true to the biblical text as well as understandable for the congregation.  It was established for serious students who have been called to preach. The award is to be used to help with the costs of preaching classes only.  This award will be disbursed to the recipient in Spring 2023.

Yvonne Kafka College Scholarship


Academic Scholarships:

MCC’s academic scholarships are renewable and based on the following criteria.  No annual application is necessary.  The award will be based on the student’s cumulative GPA at the end of the spring semester and offered with the following year’s financial aid offer.

President’s Scholarship

Up to $16,000 ($2,000 for 8 consecutive semesters). Student must have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, or ACT score of 25 or above, SAT score of 1140 or above. Student must maintain a 3.5+ cumulative GPA to continue to receive this level of scholarship.

Trustees’ Scholarship

Up to $12,000 ($1,500 for 8 consecutive semesters). Students must have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0-3.49 or ACT score of 21-24, SAT score of 990-1139. Student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA to continue to receive this level of scholarship.

Navy and White Scholarship

Up to $8,000 ($1,000 for 8 consecutive semesters). Students must have a high school cumulative GPA of 2.50-2.99. Student must maintain a 2.50 cumulative GPA to continue to receive this level of scholarship.
