Student Council

Student Council and Student Development Office collaborate to enrich your campus experience.

The StuCo Executive Lead, Secretary, and Committee Lead, with class committees, work together to organize a variety of events, fostering a lively and engaging community for every student.

Chapel

Chapel is held weekly on Thursday morning. It provides an opportunity for the college to come together and worship as a family. Student teams lead our worship and speakers from the area, across the country, missionaries, and MCC faculty / staff / alumni present a message to encourage students in their faith.

Chapel attendance is required for students and our faculty and staff incorporate chapel as a regular part of their workday.

Athletics

Athletics are a key part of the student experience as many students participate in varsity athletics.

MCC sponsors 5 varsity sports and are members of the Midwest Christian College Conference and the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) and have won 9 NCCAA National Championships and multiple conference championships in the history of the college.

Student Opportunities

Summer Camp Teams

Each summer, MCC students are hired to travel in teams to serve at various camps. They exist to inspire young minds, nurture spiritual growth, and create a fun atmosphere where every camper can discover their place in God’s story and get connected with Manhattan Christian College.

Residence Hall Assistants

Resident Assistants (RA’s) ensure that the on-campus living experience is supportive, engaging, and enriching. They serve as go-to guides for navigating college life, and fostering a strong, inclusive community where every student feels at home and connected.

On Campus Jobs

Campus jobs and work-study opportunities offer more than just employment; they’re a chance to develop real-world skills, build your resume, and be an integral part of our campus community. Whether it’s in administration, student services, or other areas, these roles provide valuable experience and financial support, all within the supportive environment of MCC.

Intramural Sports

Whether you’re an experienced athlete or just looking to try something new and have fun, our intramurals provide a great way to stay active, meet new friends, and engage in the spirited MCC community.

Campus Closet

Campus Closet is a valuable resource where students can access basic necessities at no cost, ensuring that everyone has what they need to thrive during their college journey. Managed by a dedicated Student Council committee, this initiative reflects our commitment to supporting students in every aspect of campus life.

Global Missions

MCC hosts a biannual summer global mission trip, led by our experienced faculty, that offers a life-changing opportunity for students to engage in meaningful service and cultural immersion. This journey not only deepens your understanding of global communities and their needs but also enriches your faith and perspective, guided by the expertise and passion of our dedicated faculty.

Service through the Local Church

MCC actively encourages student involvement in local church service, providing a direct pathway to apply your faith in practical, community-focused ways. Through connections with area churches, students have ample opportunities to serve, lead, and grow spiritually.
