Federal Pell Grant
Federal Pell Grants are awarded to students who have financial need. The maximum award amount for 2024-2025 academic year is $7,395 and is awarded on a sliding scale determined by your Student Aid Index (SAI), cost of attendance, enrollment status, and number of semesters attended in an academic year.
Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant
Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant is awarded to students with exceptional financial need, that is, student with the lowest Student Aid Index (SAI).
Kansas Comprehensive Grant and Other Kansas Aid programs
Kansas Comprehensive Grant is awarded to Kansas residents that meet the Kansas Board of Regents eligibility requirements and have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Academic Scholarships
President’s Scholarship
$4,000 annually
Qualifications: ACT score 25 or above, SAT score 1140 or above OR Cumulative GPA 3.5 or above OR a CLT score of 78 or above
Renewal Requirements: Maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA
Trustees’ Scholarship
$3,000 annually
Qualifications: ACT score 21-24, SAT score 990-1139 OR Cumulative GPA 3.0-3.49 OR a CLT score of 68-77
Renewal Requirements: Maintain a 3.0-3.49 cumulative GPA
Navy & White Scholarship
$2,000 annually
Qualifications: Cumulative GPA 2.5-2.99
Renewal Requirements: Maintain a 2.5-2.99 cumulative GPA
Honors Scholarship
$1000 for Freshman year only.
Qualifications: ACT score 24 or above, SAT score 1160 or above
Merit-based Scholarships
Thunder Merit Scholarship
$500-$2,000: Renewable for one year. Award varies based on involvement, service, and other contributing factors.
To be considered for this scholarship students must complete the Thunder Merit Scholarship application, be accepted
for admission into the college, and live on campus at MCC for the first two years after high school graduation.
Additional information: Priority deadline is March 1 for fall students and December 1 for spring students.
Ministry Scholarship
$500-$1,000: Renewable annually. Awarded to top students who can demonstrate a passion for ministry in their past and a vision
for ministry in their future. Student must be seeking a B.A. or B.S. from Manhattan Christian College and complete the Ministry
Scholarship Application form.
Additional information: Priority deadline is March 1 for fall students and December 1 for spring students.
Timothy Days Leadership Scholarship
The largest and most prestigious award given to incoming freshmen. Winners demonstrate high levels of leadership and potential.
Awarded: Semester 1 & 2: 50% Tuition Scholarship | Semester 3 & 4: 50% | Semester 5 & 6: 75% | Semester 7 & 8: 100%
Qualifications: Student must be nominated by their youth leader, minister, coach, or teacher, must be a senior in high school, must attend and interview at one of the two Timothy Days Leadership Events.
Additional Information: Student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Must follow other criteria outline in signed contract.
Timothy Days Scholarship can only be stacked with the Thunder Merit Scholarship if the student lives on campus.
