About Us

Grace is an independent, non-affiliated Baptist church. We’ve served the Manhattan, Kansas State University, and Fort Riley communities for nearly 80 years. Making disciples has been our guiding vision since the church grew out of a Bible study for college students at our local campus. Today we are an intergenerational congregation averaging 450 attenders for Sunday morning worship. We offer a full Sunday School program for all ages and a midweek AWANA/Bible club program. Multiple small group Bible studies, care groups, and home-school coop’s use our campus weekly.

More About Us

Our paid staff consists of a Lead Pastor and two Associate Pastors, a women’s ministry associate, and four support staff members. The elder board assists the pastors in shepherding the congregation.

Our core values are Biblical authority, Christ-exalting worship, fervent prayer, authentic community, disciple-making, and global missions partnerships. Major decisions (such as property purchases and pastoral calls) are affirmed by the congregation. The current annual general budget is 1.1 million and our Faith Promise Missions budget is $460,000. We have a deep commitment to world missions. Our worship format (two duplicate services, 8:30 and 11:00) features a blended style of worship music and an emphasis on Biblical preaching. Given the mix of KSU students and staff, along with soldiers and their families, both the community and congregation are largely transient. It’s an exciting place to minister!
