Job Description
First Christian Church of Tabor, IA is seeking a Youth and Family minister. At FCC Tabor we exist to Love God, Love People, Serve God, and Serve People. We are a community of faith rooted in the love of God. Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the Holy Scriptures, life’s only guidebook. Our Youth Minister would be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive ministry to students K-12.
Some Responsibilities would include:
- Discipling youth (6th-12th) into a personal relationship with God.
- Build and lead a team of volunteers for both Wednesday night youth group and Sunday morning programing.
- Provide opportunities for spiritual growth and development for students K-12.
- Develop and execute a budget.
- Build a ministry that works in conjunction with the local schools to develop outreach opportunities to share Jesus.
Ultimately, the objective of our Youth Minister would be to foster spiritual growth in students to help them take the next step in their discipleship journey. Our Youth Minister would be compensated with housing, health insurance, and a weekly paycheck.
