Circuit Rider
Job Description
The Barnabas Conference is looking to fill multiple Circuit Rider positions in Colorado and other surrounding states. This position is bi-vocational and would be to serve and help facilitate healthy churches whether through raising up church plants or pastorally serving existing churches.
Requirements:
- There would need to be a willingness to serve in a vocation outside of ministry.
- Complete a 1-year Circuit Rider residency program with the Barnabas Conference, this is remote and only a few hours a week, so very flexible.
- Ability to move or live Colorado after completing the Circuit Rider 1-year Residency program.
- A bachelor’s degree, master’s level degree, or experience in ministry. Seminary students are welcome to apply.
Denominational Requirements:
- The Barnabas Conference is not a denomination, and we require that the Circuit Rider is a member of an orthodox Protestant denomination, preferably in the Wesleyan tradition like Global Methodist, Church of the Nazarene, the Wesleyan Church, or the Anglican Church of North America.
