Job Description

Ames Christian Church is prayerfully seeking a servant leader to lead our church family in our mission to Love God, Love People and Make Disciples. We are an Independent Christian Church associated with the Restoration Movement.

Ames, Oklahoma is a rural, agriculture community with a population around 250 people. At one point the church drew an attendance of between 60-75 people regularly. We are looking for a leader to help us regrow our numbers and restore our church.

We are excited to partner with the man God has called to lead us. He will be passionate about preaching the Word of God, reach the lost, and making disciples. With the support of the elders, he will provide vision, coordination, and leadership in all aspects of the ministry.

The pastor must have a shepherd’s heart for those under his care and be willing to provide pastoral care for people of all ages, from all walks of life. We need a strong leader who is faith filled and spirit led.

ACC offers a competitive salary package, a beautiful 4 bedroom/3 bathroom parsonage across from the church and a loving, generous congregation willing to do the work for God’s Kingdom. The church is open to discussing an interim, short-term, long-term, or bi-vocational commitment.
