Lead Pastor

Job Description

The Lead Pastor shall have the general oversight of the entire work of the church; shall be an ex-officio member of all committees by virtue of his office; shall preside at the meetings of the church for worship and shall perform the duties ordinarily expected of pastors.

Olive Hill Church is a country church, proclaiming Christ since 1876. The purpose of this church is the winning of souls to the Lord Jesus Christ; the edification of Christians through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word; worldwide proclamation of God’s saving Grace expressed in the shed blood and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ at Calvary; the promotion of Godly worship; the defense of the faith once delivered unto the saints and the cooperation with Christian activities functioning in harmony with God’s Holy Word until Christ comes.

Speaking skills in delivering messages.

Events/worship times consist of Children’s adult Sunday School at 9:30AM followed by morning worship at 10:30AM, We have an attendance of 15-30 weekly. Our worship team plays contemporary Christian and traditional hymns. Christmas Eve service, Easter Sunrise Service, potluck last Sunday of the month, Wednesday night Bible study.

Degree not required, but salary will be based upon experience/education.
