Senior Pastor
First Baptist Church Cherokee Village (FBCCV) is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor. After twenty years of service our Pastor is retiring.
FBCCV is located in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Our membership includes approximately 250 active members. We are debt free. The Creator’s Christian Academy , a private school, is located in and supported by FBCCV. Staff includes a Associate Pastor of Worship, an Associate Youth Pastor, and an Administrative Assistant.
We are excited about this opportunity to seek the next man of God to lead us as we honor the God of the Bible.
Our Pastor will:
Believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God and believes that it is the final authority for faith and practice.
Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm.
Have experience as a Youth Pastor (Desired not required)
Be willing to lead, teach, always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks for a reason for the hope that is in you yet do it with gentleness and respect, have unity of mind, sympathy, love, a tender heart and a humble mind.
