Tech Arts Director
Job Description
This position is responsible for training and overseeing the live production teams (audio, video, lighting) to support the goals of the Creative Arts department objectives and in support of the ministry of StoneBridge as a whole.
This is a full-time, salaried, 40 hours a week at the Omaha Campus. This position reports to Patrick Duvall, Creative Arts Pastor.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee Technical Arts Staff and Volunteers
- Support volunteers across all StoneBridge Campuses.
- Recruit Volunteers.
- Train – Equip staff and volunteers to achieve excellence in all aspects of Technical Arts.
- Encourage the spiritual and technical development of volunteers- Be a leader in this area.
- Oversee the Planning Center schedule for the Omaha tech arts team- Audio, Video & Lighting
- Assist campus Worship Pastors (MIL, FRE, BEN) in scheduling tech as needed.
Oversee Execution of All Technical (AVL) Elements
- Competent, tasteful, worshipful and musical Audio Engineer, Video Director and Lighting Programmer.
- Serve as producer at designated venue for weekend services (most regularly at OMA).
- Oversee quality of programming and execution in Audio, Video and Lighting elements.
- Oversee all production aspects of weekend services to include Audio, Video, Graphics, Lighting, IMAG, Stream and other related components.
- Manage and ensure all production related tasks are completed.
- Expert with ProPresenter, Jands Vista, Stream Deck, Ross Video Systems, Yamaha CL5, M32, and other core gear.
- Provide technical guidance and support for all StoneBridge Campuses.
- Manage technical components and musical instruments on stage and in tech booth.
- Aid in design and implementation of creative components in the worship ministry
- Set stage for weekly services (OMA) and organize tech booths and stage.
- Make preparations for Thursday rehearsals.
- Provide oversight to the Auditorium space and gear. Care for stage, booth, backstage areas.
Oversee Creative Elements
- Lead the design and construction of scenic design elements for all campuses.
- Provide creative brainstorm input and help coordinate content creation for services.
- Aid in the construction and management of the Worship Arts budget and tech purchasing.
- Positively contribute ideas and insight to weekly staff, worship arts, and creative meetings.
